2023
Keringa Angus 2023 Bull Sale Recap
Our recent bull sale in 2023 drew repeat local and online buyers who recognized the value in quality carcass bulls. Out of 68 offerings, 57 bulls found new homes, with the top sale reaching an impressive $22,000.
The average sale price stood at $10,509, reflecting the consistent demand for our exceptional genetics. The highlight of the sale was Lot 5, Keringa Sovereign S166 ET, which topped at $22,000. This outstanding Millah Murrah Nugget 266 son boasts qualities such as docility, calving ease, and ranks in the top 6% for 400-day weights—ultimately securing a place with Marcollat Pastoral.
We're delighted to welcome new buyer Spinifex Pastoral, who seized the opportunity to secure 10 outstanding bulls. Among them was Lot 18, a Paratrooper son with remarkable growth and the distinction of being the reserve high-priced bull.
2022
Keringa Angus 2022 Sale Recap
Today marked an incredible achievement as all 48 bulls offered were successfully sold, setting a new South Australian Angus record with an average of $18,458. The top performer was Lot 13 R59, fetching an outstanding price of $32,000.

2021
Keringa Angus 2021 Bull Sale Recap
48 bulls presented, 41 auctioned, and 3 post-sale transactions marked our impactful 2021 Annual Bull Sale, achieving an average sale price of $7,488. Notably, Lot 22, Q182, secured by Marcollat Pastoral, reached an impressive $14,000.
Featured in the Stock Journal on February 17th, 2021, our on-property sale saw 41 bulls auctioned with an average price of $7,488. The top-performing Keringa Liberty Q182, with exceptional Estimated Breeding Values, was acquired by repeat buyer Marcollat Pastoral. Noteworthy sales included Keringa Marlon Brando Q257 at $13,500 to Hillcrest Pastoral and Keringa Quarterback Q17 at $12,000, bought by TFI Rural.
Marking the third year, the 2021 sale witnessed remarkable growth, with 15 new registered buyers. The sale's success, a testament to a decade of strategic investment, showcased ready-to-work bulls and a commitment to quality improvement. We express gratitude to our buyers and anticipate their prosperity with the top-notch genetics acquired for their herds.
2020
Keringa Angus 2020 Bull Sale Highlights
Our 2020 On-Property Bull Sale marked a substantial improvement in clearance, with commercial breeders recognizing the quality of our offerings. The event, featured in the Stock Journal on February 21st, saw a remarkable surge in demand, resulting in the purchase of 19 more bulls compared to the previous year.
Top honours at the sale were achieved twice at $8000. Lot 1, Keringa Liberty P4, a son of Nampara Liberty L21, born early with a low birth weight of 27 kilograms, showcased impressive estimated breeding values (EBVs) of +3.6 for birth weight, +45 for 200-day weight, +85 for 400-day weight, and +114 for 600-day weight. Another standout was Lot 45, Keringa P130, a son of Spickler Chisum 255, with notable figures and retained semen.
Volume buyer Marcollat Pastoral secured both $8000 bulls, emphasizing a continued partnership with Keringa. Nampara Liberty L21's impact was evident with 23 sons catalogued, alongside contributions from Spickler Chisum and Karoo D62 Docklands K153. The positive feedback on our lineup translated into a robust clearance, pleasing our team and reinforcing our commitment to providing top-quality genetics.
2019
Keringa Angus 2019 Bull Sale Recap
In our debut bull sale, Keringa Angus showcased top-tier genetics, with the McKay family securing the top sire, Keringa New Age N150, for $10,000. This EF Complement 8088 son boasted impressive traits, including an eye muscle area of +7.2 and +144 for 600-day weight.
KW&BF Badenoch, key volume buyers, invested in six bulls, including the second-highest-priced bull, Keringa Never Never N238, a Millah Murrah Highlander F32 son, at $9,000. The sale marked over a decade of Keringa Angus's dedication to superior Angus genetics.
Drawing a mix of new and repeat buyers, the sale reflected trust in Keringa Angus's breeding program. Notable acquisitions included Hillcrest Pastoral and Marcollat Pastoral. Conducted by Platinum Livestock and Elders, the sale set the stage for Keringa Angus's ongoing commitment to excellence.
